Pricing a web site (just like many things) can get a little complicated. It will depend on the size of the site, number of pictures etc. There will also be charges to make changes in the future. The fees below should give you a pretty good idea. Don’t hesitate to email or give my a call if you have questions.
I will construct a web site for a fee of $100 . The site will include up to 8 “pages” ( including the “home page”) and up to 10 images ( pictures, logos, maps and other graphics). As way of definition, I consider a “page” to be one “window“. Your site will open in the “home page” window and have links to others “pages”.
At the time of construction additional pages may be added for a fee of $5 per page. Additional images may be added for a fee of $ 3 per image.
This fee is for the design and construction of a web site and uploading it to a host server only. It does not include “hosting” fees, search engine registration and future changes to the site. More on those below.
FUTURE CHANGES TO SITE
I will make future changes to the web site for the following fees. $10 for adding a page. $5 for adding or changing an image. $4 for changing text on an existing page. If you have a site where there will be many changes done often these prices may lower. These fees will be in effect for at least one year after the site is constructed.
CONDITIONS
MATERIAL SUBMISSION
You must provide good, sharp, copyable images. Text for the site will be provided on a 3 1/2 inch floppy disc or sent email in a word program usable by Paul Umfleet. Word Pad and Microsoft Works are two. An outline for the site will be agreed upon in advance.
OWNERSHIP
You will be the owner of this site upon completion and payment. You may choose to use Paul Umfleet for future changes to the site or not.
HOSTING
I will host your web site for a fee of $10 per month or $100 per year. If you wish to use your own host I will upload to their server for you.
DOMAIN NAME
Domain names must be renewed each year. I will do this for a fee or $20 each year.
ADDITIONALLY
You agree to allow placement of “web site design by Paul H. Umfleet” at the very bottom of the home page. This will be an email link.
